Statement of Faith

Windraven Ministries’ theology is founded in the sacred wisdom revealed in humankind’s oldest spiritual symbol, the Medicine Wheel. Anthropologists discovered evidence of these sacred hoops in every ancient human culture from all four corners of the Earth. The Medicine Wheel embodies the Four Directions, as well as The Creator, Father Sky, Earth Mother, and Spirit Tree. Its consecrated circle represents a divine path for all human and animal races, by honoring the whole of Great Spirit’s creations. The cross inside the circle divides the world into the four elements or cardinal points. The union of the vertical line with the horizontal line represents the union of the divine with the secular, or of God and man. We believe it is also indicative of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the redemption found in his passion and death.

Windraven Ministries believes the Medicine Wheel represents the alignment and continuous interaction of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realities. The circular shape represents the interconnectivity of all aspects of one’s being, including connections with the natural and spiritual worlds. The sacred teachings of the Medicine Wheel illuminate the circle of awareness of the individual self, and the circle of knowledge providing the power we each have over our own lives. 

Much like the Medicine Wheel constitutes the ever-changing cycle of knowledge and wisdom, Windraven Ministries believes pluralism of faiths is a blessing and invite any honest seeker of Great Spirit’s will to join in our fellowship. We hold each individual connection to the Creator unique and defend every believer’s right to their own dogma. Our ministry seeks to teach each person how they may independently establish and maintain their own personal guiding connection to Great Spirit. 

Windraven Ministries celebrates the daily miracles found in surrendering one’s path to the guidance of Great Spirit. Like the Medicine Wheel, Windraven Ministries seeks to provide the education and spiritual tools to discover and stay on one’s true path, through worship, fellowship, and counseling. 

Windraven Ministries is dedicated to reducing spiritual, emotional and material poverty in the world through humanitarian assistance, free educational programs, and compassionate counseling services. We believe every human hosts a Higher Self, an immortal soul which can transcend the frailty of the ego and evolve into the divine. Our ministry nurtures the connection to this Higher Self and, by so doing, seeks to advance humankind’s divine evolution.
