Our Philosophy
We fight on, together. Our democracy is under threat, but we will not yield to fascism. We will stand together and we'll fight back in defense of our rights, our communities, and our values. The Indivisible Galax Sentinels is a peaceful movement. Violence of any kind will not be tolerated. Indivisible Galax Sentinels are firmly committed to non-violence. That’s not just a moral stance—it’s how we build durable power. Our resistance is strategic, principled, and grounded in the knowledge that peaceful movements win.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
Our Crisis
The Trump regime is terrorizing our communities with brutal immigration enforcement campaigns designed to test the limits of executive power and the nation’s willingness to stand up against Trump’s power grab.
Donald Trump’s and his Maga Republicans totalitarian actions are criminally violating the Constitution. His administration is attacking universities, law firms, journalists and corporations to suppress dissent and weaken democracy. His inhumane treatment of immigrants without due process and their internment in concentration camps violating basic human rights.
Masked federal agents are teargassing babies and pastors, kidnapping our neighbors and shipping them off to foreign torture prisons, and killing innocent people. This pattern of unchecked violence and abuse by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Border Patrol (BPA), and other federal law enforcement agencies must end.
Our Purpose
It is our civic, moral, and spiritual duty to resist this criminal and unholy authoritarian regime. We must do everything in our power to speak out and resist.
Stopping or resisting the actions of this fascist totalitarian administration calls for organized, multi-faceted civic engagement, including supporting advocacy groups, protesting, and lobbying Congress. Key strategies include funding legal challenges, participating in grassroots organizing to mobilize voters, and using social media to combat misinformation.
We must bear witness, with our eyes and most importantly, document with our cameras, any illegal act commited by federal ICE and/or BPA agents. It is on us to speak the truth to their lies and cover ups,

Our Approach
Fascists depend on you believing you're alone and powerless. But when individuals come together, we create real power. Indivisible Galax Sentinels are part of a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda. We are paying attention, we care, and we’re not backing down.
Like Superman, the Indivisible Galax Sentinels stand for truth, justice, and the American Way. Our movement shows the world that the American working class will not sit idly by as plutocrats rip apart their democratic institutions and civil liberties while undermining the rule of law.
